EUGENE MELODY SR.

     Eugene Melody Sr. is a senior partner at the law firm of Martin Melody, L.L.C., in Little Silver, New Jersey. He specializes in workers’ compensation claims and civil trials. 

     Melody Sr. has litigated thousands of cases and over 200 trials including both jury and non-jury trials. These litigated matters include his experience as an Assistant Monmouth County Prosecutor, Legal Counsel to the Monmouth County Board of Health, Monmouth County Office on Aging, Assistant Counsel to the County of Monmouth, Municipal Prosecutor for Eatontown and Hazlet as well as thousands of individual clients all across the spectrum of legal practice. Melody Sr. has also litigated several prominent civil rights cases on behalf of victims which have been prominently noted in the news media. For the past 20 years he has concentrated his practice in New Jersey Workers Compensation matters and employment litigation to include discrimination cases, sexual harassment issues, and FMLA claims. 

     Melody Sr. began his legal career as a law clerk for the Monmouth County Prosecutor and was shortly thereafter appointed an Assistant County Prosecutor responsible for litigating major crime in the New Jersey Superior Court. He thereafter became involved with representing the various governmental agencies and numerous individuals as noted above.
